You can’t help but love April Fools Day and all the quirky-ness it brings. We all forget its coming every year, and our gullible selves fall for the silliness of the campaigns and products that brands announce.

But who smashed the April Fools Day madness this year? Let’s dive in…

Tinder – VP of Ghost Hunting👻 -Tinder shook the world of Linkedin on Monday by announcing a vacancy for the VP of Ghost Hunting, with the aim to “spearhead Tinder’s new ghost-hunting strategy to address and reduce overall ghosting behaviour” – essentially to get rid of all those pesky ghosters blanking your However, with a salary of $0-5, we think we’ll pass!
  2. TALA – Talalalalala – Tala Activewear bought Christmas to us early by releasing a whole range of festive themed items with full mockups and a Q&A with their founder Grace Beverley. As a big TALA fan may I add this was SO convincing!!
  3. Krispy Kreme – ‘You bring it, we glaze it’ – Krispy Kreme announced that they would glaze anything you bring into one of their stores, literally anything. Such a great but super silly play on their USP!🍩
  4. Dulux – Scented Paint Range – the iconic paint company announced the release of the ‘scratch and sniff’ paint collection, which within two hours would smell like the likes of caramel cream and hazelnut truffle. We kinda wish this one was real👀
  5. Aldi – Love Aisland – a classic play on the iconic Aldi middle aisles, the supermarket announced the competition to find love in the aisles!
